February 19, 2025 (2 months ago)

The Poco X2, which was introduced earlier this month, now has development support, with the business releasing the Kernel-Source Codes on Github. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to install TWRP and root your Poco X2/Redmi K30.

Sithu Htun of the XDA Forum posted a functional TWRP, which is in its early stages and unofficially produced by wzsx150, and he tests it. As we all know, the Poco X2 is a rebranded variant of Xiaomi’s Redmi K30, therefore all smartphones have the same specs and utilise the same kernel source codes, and both devices are codenamed the Phoenix.

Installing TWRP allows an Android smartphone user to explore many functions that the manufacturer does not offer; we will explain such aspects in this post. After installing TWRP, you will be able to quickly root the Poco X2/Redmi K30 using Magisk.
